Well this is going to be quite short.

Since last months issue, the only Berkshire Championship shot has been the ABT at the NCSC on 28/4/07.

It was a good day with18 Berkshire shooter turning up.

Well deservedly the Berkshire Championship went to Stephen Halfacre with a fantastic 96. The Veterans Championship went to Michael Vere-Hodge (him indoors) with an annoying 92, (and because I got right royally whooped, I had ear plugs in all the way home).

Our great junior Simon Clarke took home another silver cup after shooting a 74. Hope you have enough room for all these cups Simon. Again a big thank you goes to Newbury Building Society for again sponsoring a Junior Cup.

The Ladies trophy was presented for just turning up....No other women shot...so embarrassed to say it went to me with a terrible score of 79.

Ladies please show yourselves......come out from under the bushel and start bashing clays.

A Class went to Keith Kilvington with a 92,

B Class went to Eric Davis with a 91.

C Class went to Chris Wilkins with 82.

D Class went to Warren Ody with 87. Warren it was great to see your score of 23 on round 3 and 24 on round 4, because I know you are new to the trap disciplines. It is wonderful to see Berkshire shooters stepping out of their 'comfort zone' and trying different disciplines in competition by shooting in the Berkshire Championships.

We are supposed to have 600 shooters in Berkshire......so where the hell are you all.

I know the ladies will have restored my faith in Berkshire when the Skeet is shot in May and June. I know more of you will turn out. If not, then I want to know why you are holding back from these competitions. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

In July we have three Championships to shoot for. The Berkshire Olympic Trap County Championship at the NCSC on 1/7/07 which will have even more added excitement because the Grand Prize Draw will be done after the shoot. So it will be the last chance to get some tickets. Good luck to all who supported this draw.

The 7/7/07 is the date for the Berkshire All Round County Championship at Fareham CTC and if anyone has not been there yet, I can tell you that they are a great friendly bunch and it is always a good day out.

Following that is the Berkshire Sportrap County Championship held at Podimore on 15/7/07.

Please can we have good turn outs at these Championships....you have all had plenty of practice by now.....remember ....Ladies, Juniors.....we want you.

Oh and as a parting word.......I thought all you out there in Berkshire will be delighted to know that we now have the grand total of 3 new people on the email data base.

I thought Berkshire was a 'posh' not 'thick' County....come on get on your keyboards.

Oooohhhhh....I can hear the responses already..!
