                                      Selection Proceedure

This year we have put together the details of how the Berkshire Inter County Teams

will be selected, this procedure will be used by the relevant discipline officer who

will be responsible for the teams.

1. The first thing is that you must be a current Berkshire CPSA member.

2. You must then take part in the Berkshire County Championship in the

discipline you wish to be considered for.

(The only exceptions to this are if you are on International duty or

uanble to take part do to exceptional circumstances.

3. Next you must inform the Discipline Officer of your wish to be

considered for the County Team, this would involve giving them your

    contact details.

A registration form will be available at the County Championships so you

can do this.

Those Berkshire competitors who fill the above criteria and finish in the first

3 places of a County Championship will be automatically offered a team place,

the remaining 2 places will be picked by the discipline officer, who will take into

account the remaining scores, previous form etc.

this will give the County the best chance of winning a Inter County Title.

If one of the top three does not wish to take up their place in the team then once

again it will be down to the discipline officer to find a replacement.

The Vet, Lady, Junior and Colt would, where possible, not be in this group of 5.

This will hopfully give more people the chance to compete at County level.
