BERKSHIRE SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP
There will be available Seniors, Ladies, and Juniors trophies + prizes. There will be no class prizes. Juniors ages will be taken at the first County event whether they participate or not and they will stay in that category for the remainder of the Supreme Championship ONLY. Juniors are boys and girls aged 21 yrs or less.
All competitors are only eligible for one category…Seniors, Ladies or Juniors.
The County at the present time has 14 different County titles up for grabs this includes the new County Championships of Double Trap and Helice (ZZ), the results of these will ascertain who the people are that will receive points. These will be awarded to the top 7 shooters in each discipline and in each of the Seniors, Ladies and Juniors.
Competitors MUST complete the competition, early retirement will result in NO points being awarded.

1st….14 points
2nd…12 ^
3rd…10 ^
4th….8 ^
5th….6 ^
6th….4 ^
7th….2 ^
In the event of a tie the count back rule will apply. If the shooters are still tied the points from those tied positions will be shared equally between the shooters ie. 2 shooters tied for second would share 2nd & 3rd place points 22/2=11. If the share is not a whole number ie. 6 shooters tied for 4th they would share 4th,5th,6th and 7th place points 20/6=3.33, this would be rounded up or down accordingly. When it occurs that there are more tied shooters than points available they will each receive 1 point. If there are 7 entries or less then you are guaranteed to claim points. No points will be awarded to competitors who fail to finish the competition.
The individual shooters best seven scores from the 14 events will make up his/her total score for the Championship but you do not have to post 7 scores to be eligible.
If at this point there is a tie then the contestant with the most wins will be the champion. If again they are tied then this procedure will continue through the most 2nd, most 3rd etc.
In the unlikely event that there is still a tie, then a sudden death single barrel shoot off at DTL will be the decider. This would be held at the NCSC at a time convenient to the contestants.
We will have a running total on the website..www.berkshirecpsa.co.uk that will be updated after every County Championship so
you will be able to check on your progress throughout the competition.
Please come and have a go at the County Championships this year, the Supreme is a competition that is open to every CPSA member in Berkshire.
